REV. DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” – MLK
Every year on the third Monday in January our country celebrates the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. One of the most influential figures in our nation’s history, Dr. King brought about a non-violent movement that would impact the lives, hearts, and minds of all Americans.
He grew up in the segregated South but went on to lead our nation through the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s. He peacefully but firmly challenged the status quo, devoting his life to the fight for civil liberties and justice for all. Dr. King was a zealous advocate for the disadvantaged, the disenfranchised, and the voiceless. Perhaps most importantly, he lived a life of deep courage, persevering faith, and compassion.
He is quoted as saying, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’”
At Allen Law Firm, we take Dr. King’s words to heart. We strive to be a firm that makes an impact for good in our community and in the lives of our clients. We hope to fight injustice when we see it in every one of our personal injury cases. And we always aim to be zealous advocates for our clients, treating them as if they were our family.
So, on this day, we celebrate Dr. King, a man who made an indelible impact by constantly asking himself “What are you doing for others?”
