Ginny Allen

Client Care/Insurance Specialist

Ginny graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism (Public Relations) from the University of Florida in 1981 and began a career with Nationwide Insurance in 1982.

Throughout her twenty-five year claims career with Nationwide, she handled and managed various types of cases including personal injury, medical, auto, homeowner and commercial claims, and also served as a state-wide litigation manager.

While working at Nationwide, she attended many mediation and trials as the designated corporate representative. She also worked on several catastrophe teams assisting policyholders after storms and hurricanes. She holds the professional designations AIC (Associate in Claims) and CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriting).

Ginny is a cancer fighter/survivor after being diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 2007 and is currently in remission. She is active in many community events and local charity fundraising activities. She has an extreme appreciation for life and loves helping clients work through their difficulties and challenges and is the steady promoter of the firm’s philosophy of sincere client focus and care.

Ginny is married to Bill, her high school sweetheart, and they are the proud parents of two adult children, Amanda and Will, and son-in-law Charlie Burchfield, and grandparents to two pretty cute grandkids! 


Faith Henry

Case/Office Manager

Faith is a native of Ohio and Nebraska and received her bachelors in Health Administration from Ohio University in 2003. Faith worked in the legal field for 5 years prior to joining the Allen Law Firm as a Case Manager. During that time, she has developed an appreciation for clients and families that have been affected by loss or injury.

Faith is devoted to educating clients about their cases and to building strong relationships with others. Having evacuated from New Orleans in 2005, Faith understands what it takes to be compassionate during difficult times. Her personal experiences have given her a deeper appreciation for her clients and have instilled in her the supportive nature that is necessary during difficult times. During her downtime, Faith enjoys fitness and social time with friends and family.


Nicole Talcik

Case Manager Supervisor

Nicole joined the Allen Law Firm, P.A. in 2015 bringing with her over 20 years of experience as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal handling all aspects of a personal injury claim. She began her career as a file clerk and worked diligently to acquire the skills necessary to achieve the title of Paralegal. She earned her A.S. in Paralegal Studies in 2006 and in 2017, graduated Summa Cum Laude, earning a 4.0 GPA, from Liberty University with a B.S. in Paralegal Studies.

Nicole is also a member of the Florida Bar Association as a Florida Registered Paralegal. As a Paralegal/Case Manager here at Allen Law, Nicole is dedicated to providing personal attention and compassion to our clients and their families. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys reading, movies, exercising and spending as much time as possible with her daughter and grandson who reside in Michigan.


Adamarie Keeton

Office Manager/Settlement Manager

Adamarie uses many talents in settlements and negotiations of medical balances at Allen Law. Like her sister, Ginny Allen, she loved growing up in the small town of Bronson, Florida. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Florida and was a science teacher for many years while she and her husband Jim started and ran their own company, BK Cypress Log Homes, in Bronson, Florida.

After running her own company for so many years, Adamarie thoroughly enjoys customer care and now loves anticipating and answering our clients’ needs and questions. Like Ginny, Adamarie is a cancer survivor having battled breast and thyroid cancer. Her happy place is her log home and spending time with Jim and her adult children, Jordan, James, and Corinne, and Jordan’s wife Shannon, but the Keeton household is really run by their Miniature Schnauzer, Jackson! She loves to play bocce and has a great bocce court at their house. To put it simply, Adamarie just loves nature, and simplicity.


Tim Brinkley

Case Resolution Manager

Tim joined Allen Law Firm in 2011. He is a native Floridian. He is originally from South Florida, but now considers Gainesville his home. Tim graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1988 with his B.A. in Corporate Management. He has an Associate in Claims (AIC) designation and has been a licensed Claims Adjuster for over 25 years.

Tim worked for several major insurance companies throughout Florida for over 23 years specializing in claims that involve complex liability, catastrophic injuries, and extensive litigation. He has handled and settled thousands of injury cases during his career.

Tim and his wife Mary are the proud parents of two daughters, Emily and Alyson.


Candace Shelton

Case Manager

Candace brings years of insurance and claims experience to our firm having worked at Travelers Insurance as a Personal/Commercial Lines Liability Adjuster and then as a Master Liability Claims Adjuster with Nationwide Insurance. She is an excellent resource for coverage and liability investigations and knows exactly how to negotiate with insurance companies, holding them accountable every step of the way.

Candace has a B.S. in Criminal Justice from California State University and holds a LPCS (Legal Principles Claims Specialist) designation from the American Educational Institute for Claims Professionals. She is also pursuing her CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriting) designation. Candace enjoys spending time with her son Devon and being involved in many activities with her church.


Mary Duffy

Case Resolution Manager

Mary’s early career was as a surgical technologist at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. She then transitioned into a 31 year career as a claims adjuster with Nationwide Insurance where she handled a variety of personal injury cases and earned quite a reputation in the industry for her investigative, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Mary handled the high exposure claims for Nationwide, most notably ones with severe injuries or fatalities. She also attended many mediations and trials as an insurance claim manager.

Mary’s vast insurance knowledge is a huge asset to Allen Law Firm clients as she has intimate knowledge of the processes and protocols of insurance companies and their responses and evaluations of personal injury claims. Mary maintains her Florida claims adjuster’s license and also holds an Associate in Claims (AIC) designation. Mary enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband Mike also enjoy the beach, bike riding, walking, and spending family time with kids and grandkids.


Andrew Emmons

Case Manager

Andrew Emmons was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida- so it’s no surprise to anyone that he is a huge Gator football, basketball and baseball fan.   In addition to being a sports enthusiast, he is a kayak fisherman on the weekends and loves to be on the water. He is a dedicated husband and father, and is a committed to his church, as well. 

Andrew’s outgoing personality and prior insurance claims experience allows him to provide that special expertise while enjoying the conversations and interaction that comes along with providing a high level of client care.  He feels that the best success of any case is achieved by  building trust with clients through effective communication and transparency.


Daisy Moran

Case Manager

Daisy comes to us from a previous Personal Injury firm where she has held several positions, including Case Manager. Daisy was born in California and moved to Florida when she was six years old. Her family moved from state to state as migrant farm workers so as Daisy says, “I am no stranger to hard work!”

She and her husband Adrian are the proud parents of three children – Jocelyn, Alondra, and Nathan. They enjoy going to the movies, attending sports events with the kids, cooking, and dancing. Daisy is also bilingual, which is an additional asset for us.


Ashley Ranslow

Case Manager

Originally from Miami, FL, Ashley has called Gainesville home for the last 10 years. After graduating from the University of Florida with her B.A. in Criminology, Ashley began working for Nationwide Insurance as a Casualty Adjuster, investigating coverage and liability claims across the country. After 6.5 years with Nationwide, Ashley brings her experience and customer dedication to the ALF family as a Case Manager. Ashley takes pride in providing excellent and reliable customer service, while educating and handling each client with individual care, compassion, and transparency.

Ashley values faith, family, and friendship. In her free time, you’ll catch Ashley spending time with her husband and their two young children. They are avid Gator fans, lovers of all things Disney, and enjoy family adventures like camping in the Appalachian Mountains


Kim Mitchell

 Administrative/Legal Assistant 

Kim is Georgia born, but Florida raised.  She’s lived in FL most of her life and grew up surfing New Smyrna beach almost every weekend. She’s been a paralegal for 8 years and comes from a wide range of legal experiences from Criminal to Family, and now Personal Injury law. 

She enjoys being a dedicated mom and spending family time with her amazing daughter and traveling.



Ruth Browning

Legal Assistant

Ruth has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on health care. While attending college, Ruth worked in customer service and provided home care for individuals with disabilities. Her college courses and employment experience provided her with a wealth of knowledge on research, writing, and analysis, as well as a passion for helping others.

Ruth knows that personal injuries from accidents can be overwhelming and she is committed to helping clients in their time of need. A devoted wife and mother, she loves spending time with her family at the beach or lake, as well as hiking, reading, and learning new languages.



Jeremy Dickens

Case Manager Supervisor

Like many of our staff, Jeremy comes to our firm with a wealth of insurance knowledge. Jeremy’s story is unique, though, as he was personally involved in an auto accident years ago and observed insurance company tactics and defense throughout the litigation process. That experience, along with working for a major auto insurance carrier for many years, set Jeremy on a path to seek out a professional home where he could leverage his knowledge of the claims process and help those fighting the big insurance companies.

Jeremy landed at the Allen Law Firm and enjoys an environment with people who share his values of family and faith.

Jeremy has lived in Gainesville for over 20 years and thoroughly enjoys being a member of the community and the Gator Nation. He’s a devoted family man, active in his church, and enjoys spending time outdoors and attending sporting events.


Tra Schuler

Legal Assistant/Property Damage Specialist

Born and raised in Bronson, Florida, Tra is a native to North Central Florida. Tra earned his degree in Computer Information Systems from Saint Leo University. After graduating in 2006, Tra returned to the Gainesville area. He worked for five years at the Alachua County Clerk of Court before joining the Allen Law Firm team in 2011 as a Client Care Specialist. At Allen Law Firm, Tra assists with every aspect of a client’s case but is specifically in charge of ensuring repairs are completed properly on a client’s car, arranging rental vehicles and negotiating settlements on total loss vehicles. Tra also pursues Diminution of Value claims for our clients on their damaged vehicles.

Tra is the “technical” guy at the firm and assists with all computer and electronic issues. He enjoys spending time with his family and is a big Gator fan. In his free time, Tra coaches youth basketball.


Allison Seymour

Settlement Specialist

Allison Seymour was born and mostly raised in Albertville, Alabama. However, growing up a military brat, she moved very frequently. Allison relocated to Gainesville, Florida the summer of 2018 with her husband so he could attend the University of Florida. Allison attended the University of West Florida and earned her bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration December of 2015. She spent four years working in the healthcare industry during and after earning her degree.

Her prior work experience in medical billing and her education help her to negotiate our client’s outstanding balances with healthcare providers in an assertive and knowledgeable manner. She strives to disburse settlement funds quickly and efficiently. In her free time, Allison enjoys running, exercising, reading, and spending time with her husband and Bull Terrier rescue.


Anthony Allie

Legal Assistant

Anthony joined the Allen Law Firm team after recently moving here from Denver, Colorado where he was the office manager for one of the largest family law firms in the state. He brings a wealth of office and marketing experience to our team and certainly enjoys the client care emphasis of our firm as his previous management experience included responsibility for client satisfaction.

Anthony has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Colorado State University and his interests include health and nutrition, outdoor activities and traveling.


Moriah Henderson

Administrative/Legal Assistant

Moriah is the first smiling face you see at our firm.  She helps route all incoming calls in reception, in addition to all incoming/outgoing mail and communications for both of our offices.   

Moriah graduated from UF with degrees in both Sociology and Women’s Studies, and also serves on the board of directors for the North Florida Veg Events.  She has over five years of experience in marketing while living in Portland before moving back to Florida to be closer to family.  In her spare time, she is a world traveler, avid animal lover, and loves outdoor activities.



Kelly Helmerson 

Case Manager Supervisor

Kelly grew up in southwest Florida and attended UF, obtaining her BA in English and Master’s Degree in Education. She spent over 25 years at Nationwide Insurance working in bodily injury claims, including large-loss, catastrophic, and litigation claims. She attended mediations and trials, has been deposed, and has testified at trial.

Kelly has also handled property insurance claims such as roof claims, plumbing claims and other claims involving homes. She holds the CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) designation. Kelly has been married for 28 years to her devoted husband and has two adult children. In her free time she walks their Golden Retriever, exercises, and reads.



Melissa Kulczycke

Paralegal

Melissa, paralegal

As a case manager/paralegal for our firm, Melissa is a dedicated advocate of our clients and feels strongly about providing the time and attention they deserve from the beginning of their claim to settlement.  Although she is a native North Floridian, she began her legal career more than 20 years ago. In 2003, she relocated to the Tampa Bay area where she worked as a Legal Assistant on commercial litigation cases and served as support for a City Attorney.  

In 2016, after a little negotiating with her husband, she convinced him to make the move back to North Florida to be closer to family.  They now reside in High Springs, Florida with their daughter, Savannah, and two Australian Shepherds.  Melissa’s son, Nicholas, is currently stationed in Marathon, Florida with the U.S. Coast Guard. During her off-time Melissa enjoys a little gym time, home projects with her husband, gardening, fishing and camping.


Dexter

ALF Firm Mascot

Dexter is our mascot here at the Allen Law Firm. He loves to swim and is often found chasing tennis balls or Frisbees to stay in shape. He graduated from J&K Canine Academy in 2015, but may pursue additional training in the field of obedience.

He loves opening doors with his nose and visits ALF regularly to greet the staff and clients. He loves being featured on billboards and is currently in negotiations on his contract for large milk bones, as opposed to the medium-size ones that are currently provided to all dogs who visit ALF.
