Onward and Upwards
When Bill and Ginny founded Allen Law Firm, they thought their greatest battles would be fought in the courtroom.
They were wrong.
Just six weeks after opening the firm in 2007, Ginny was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
She fought. She won.
In 2009, it came back.
She fought again. She won again.
Years later, as the firm grew, so did their commitment to helping others facing life’s hardest moments.
Then in 2021, breast cancer.
A delayed diagnosis led to years of aggressive treatment: surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy.
Once again, she fought. And she won.
In 2024, a new challenge, lymphedema, a lasting reminder that some battles don’t end.
But neither does she.

2007
NON-HODGKIN LYMPHOMA
Just six weeks after Allen Law Firm opened its doors, Ginny faced her first diagnosis. She fought and won.
2009
LYMPHOMA RECURRENCE
Cancer returned. Ginny refused to be defined by it. She fought again, and won again.
2021
BREAST CANCER
A delayed diagnosis. Years of treatment, surgeries, chemo, radiation, immunotherapy. Once again, she came out the other side.
2024
LYMPHEDEMA
Some battles don’t fully end. Lymphedema is a lasting reminder and so is Ginny’s resolve to keep going.
