Anthony Livingston

Anthony “Tony” Livingston joined Allen Law Firm in February 2023 with years of significant experience handling a wide variety of litigation and insurance matters.  Tony was raised in Pinellas County, Florida where he graduated from Osceola High School. He went on to receive his Baccalaureate degree from Eckerd College in 2003, where he studied Political Science and International Relations. In 2006, Tony received his law degree, Cum Laude, from Stetson University College of Law.

During his time at Stetson, Tony excelled academically and earned the highest grade in many of his classes. He also served as Senior Associate on the Stetson Law Review and was invited to join the Honors Colloquium. Remarkably, Tony graduated in the top 7% of his class of over 250 students, all while working full-time for a nationwide title insurance company.

Since graduating from Stetson, Tony’s exemplary work ethic has not changed and has served him well. In his career, he has handled hundreds of legal matters around the country. Tony began his career as a general practitioner handling all kinds of commercial, real estate, employment law, probate and family matters. In 2011, his practice shifted to working with a very prominent subrogation group where Tony honed his litigation skills while handling large loss subrogation and recovery matters for some of the world’s largest property insurance companies. Tony has handled all kinds of property losses arising out of, among other things: massive wildland interface fires, catastrophic explosions, structure fires, material failures, mechanical failures, structural collapses, construction defects, defective or unsafe products, and trucking accidents. Some of those cases involved losses widely reported in nationwide or regional news media, and involved claims for many hundreds of millions of dollars.

When Tony moved from the Tampa area to Alachua County in 2017, he joined a prestigious civil trial practice and brought that experience with him to aid in the representation of some of the world’s largest insurers and their insureds. His practice areas expanded to include motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability cases, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian injury cases, and many others.  These cases involved accidents and claims that required litigation in judicial fora around the country.

It is with that broad experience Tony proudly joined the Allen Law Firm in February of 2023.
