Award Winning Law Firm seeking an Experienced Personal Injury Case Manager or Claims Adjuster with 2+ years of personal injury experience to join our fun, fast-paced, professional team.
Duties include handling a caseload, working with attorneys, providing excellent care and service to clients, professionally communicating with insurance adjusters and medical providers, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines efficiently, and proficiency in Microsoft 365 (WordPerfect/Word, Outlook). Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Job Duties:
- Assume primary responsibility on all files assigned to you as the primary contact for all clients, taking the calls and keeping the client informed
- Facilitate and guide clients through the claim/case process
- Manage, obtain, and review medical records and bills
- Ensure the file is properly updated and current with all medical treatment, liens, insurance policies, investigation materials, liability status, issues, concerns, insurance coverage, etc.
- Work closely with the attorney to ensure that the process is followed efficiently and timely.
- Promptly perform any assignments from the attorney, including but not limited to assisting the attorney with letter writing in response to mail or to obtain pertinent information, keeping the attorney well informed of important issues on assigned clients.
- Submit monthly status reports to our attorney for all pending cases under your assignment.
- Stay current on messages by checking them several times daily and responding promptly.
- Inform the attorney of any circumstances that need his attention and input.
- Have a clear understanding of insurance types and limits as related to our clients.
- Research special issues of recovery or insurance questions.
- Be responsible for moving client files toward a conclusion in a timely manner, avoiding unnecessary delays.
- Assign tasks to the legal assistants to facilitate handling the file more efficiently and timely, as well as work with the legal assistants and scheduler in scheduling time with and for the attorney.
- Write memos and medical summaries.
- Work with demand writers to create the demand letter, take demand assignments from the lead demand writer, and produce timely demands according to Allen Law Firm standards.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in copy-editing and can manage proofreading legal documents as well as own work
- Team player, coachable, open to feedback, and a willingness to learn new skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
We offer a competitive compensation package, with a salary based on experience. Additionally, a sign-on bonus of $7,500 will be provided to hired candidates who remain employed for at least 30 days.
